A complete assessment of incontinence involves a thorough history of the nature of incontinence and contributing factors, a detailed examination of the pelvic floor and an urodynamic assessment.
Urodynamics is a special test that looks at the behaviour of the bladder. There are different kinds of urinary incontinence and they merit different treatments. This test will ensure you have the most effective treatment for your bladder problems. This test can be performed in house at NG GyneHealth.
Incontinence
Urinary Incontinence is loss of control of your bladder function and having 'leakage' or 'wetting yourself'.
It is a common condition, which can be managed and treated following proper assessment.
We perform a Urodynamic Assessment which is a special test designed to check your bladder behaviour. This will help us tailor your treatment to suit you.

Prolapse
Symptoms of a gynaecological prolapse may include feeling pressure or a pushing down sensation in the pelvis, a change in urinary and bowel function, and discomfort in the lower back or pelvic region. In some cases there may be a visible protrusion of organs.
While this form of prolapse may cause considerable discomfort, it is by no means life threatening and can be effectively treated to ease discomfort.

High Risk Pregnancy
